Base on NEC code 2008. To calculate the current or the wire size from AWG 14 up to 2000 kcmil (depending on the type of conductor selected), base on table 310.16. Taking in consideration all the voltage drop and ambiance temperature adjustment factor and number of wires on the same raceway. This app is designed for journeymen electricians , construction workers who need a quick and easy calculation to get the job done. Because our foreman they do not like us to sit down with the NEC code book and a calculator to do the proper calculation. With this application will do the same job in less than 60 second.
